  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TLR2 (Toll-like receptor 2), also known as CD282, is a crucial component of the innate immune system, playing a significant role in recognizing pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) and initiating immune responses. Research on TLR2/CD282 has gained prominence due to its involvement in various infectious diseases, inflammatory conditions, and autoimmune disorders. As a receptor that senses a wide array of ligands, including bacterial lipoproteins and peptidoglycans, TLR2 activates intracellular signaling pathways that lead to the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Studies have shown that the modulation of TLR2 activity can have therapeutic implications, making it a potential target for drug development. Recombinant TLR2/CD282 proteins can be produced for various applications, such as understanding its structural biology, elucidating signaling mechanisms, and exploring its interactions with different ligands. Furthermore, these recombinant proteins can aid in the development of vaccines and immunotherapies, as they serve as important tools for studying receptor functions and for high-throughput screening of small molecules that can either enhance or inhibit TLR2-mediated responses. Given the growing interest in personalized medicine and immune modulation, the biophysical characterization and functional analysis of recombinant TLR2/CD282 proteins are pivotal for advancing our understanding of immune regulation and for the development of innovative therapeutic strategies.
