Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GTF2E2, or General Transcription Factor II E2, is a crucial protein involved in the regulation of transcription initiation in eukaryotic cells. It plays a significant role in the formation and stabilization of the transcription pre-initiation complex alongside other general transcription factors and RNA polymerase II. Given its essential functions, GTF2E2 has attracted interest in various fields, including cell biology, cancer research, and gene therapy. Abnormal expression or malfunction of GTF2E2 is associated with several pathological conditions, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for disease diagnosis and prognosis. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression and purification of GTF2E2 to understand its structure-function relationship better and to explore its interactions with other transcriptional machinery components. This research not only elucidates the molecular mechanisms underlying gene regulation but also paves the way for innovative therapeutic strategies targeting transcription processes in diseases such as cancer. The production of recombinant GTF2E2 allows for in-depth biochemical characterization and opens avenues for high-throughput screening of small molecules that could modulate its activity, thus contributing to the development of novel therapeutic interventions.
