简介
JAML is a leukocyte plasma membrane transmembrane protein that critically regulates cell migration and activation by interacting with CXADR on neighboring cells. This interaction activates γ-δ T cells and induces downstream signaling through PI3 kinase and MAP kinase. JAML/AMICA Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived JAML/AMICA protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His, C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of JAML (Junctional Adhesion Molecule-Like) and AMICA (Adhesion Molecule Involved in Lymphocyte Adhesion) recombinant proteins is rooted in their significant roles in immunology and cellular adhesion processes. These proteins belong to the immunoglobulin superfamily and are primarily expressed in immune cells, where they facilitate interactions between leukocytes and endothelial cells. Understanding their structural and functional characteristics is crucial for elucidating their mechanisms in immune responses, particularly in processes such as lymphocyte migration, tissue infiltration, and inflammation. Recent research has highlighted their potential involvement in regulating immune cell trafficking and modulating inflammatory responses, making them attractive targets for therapeutic interventions in diseases characterized by dysregulated immune activity, such as autoimmune disorders and cancer. By investigating the recombinant forms of JAML and AMICA, researchers aim to dissect their binding affinities, signaling pathways, and interactions with other cellular partners, thus contributing to the development of novel strategies for manipulating immune responses for better disease management. The production of these recombinant proteins allows for detailed biochemical and biophysical studies, paving the way for future applications in targeted therapies and the enhancement of vaccine efficacy.
