简介
CEACAM1 protein is involved in the regulation of hepatic lipogenesis and inhibition of cell proliferation. It interacts with INSR to reduce fatty acid synthesis and with SHC1 to inhibit cell proliferation. CEACAM1 Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) is the recombinant rat-derived CEACAM1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-10*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEACAM1 (Carcinoembryonic Antigen-related Cell Adhesion Molecule 1) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, playing a crucial role in cell adhesion, immune regulation, and organismal development. It is predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues and has been implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including cancer progression, bacterial infection, and inflammatory diseases. Due to its differential expression in tumors compared to normal tissues, CEACAM1 has garnered significant interest as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Additionally, its role as a receptor for several pathogens, such as Neisseria meningitidis, highlights its importance in infectious diseases. Recent studies have focused on recombinant CEACAM1 proteins to investigate their functional roles in mediating cell adhesion and modulating immune responses. These recombinant proteins are increasingly employed in therapeutic development and as tools for understanding the biological mechanisms underlying CEACAM1’s diverse functions. Researchers aim to elucidate the molecular pathways involved in CEACAM1-mediated processes and explore its potential as a target for innovative treatment strategies. The continuous evolution of recombinant protein technologies further enhances the promise of CEACAM1 in biomedical research and clinical applications.
