Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLFN5 (Schlafen family member 5) is a member of the Schlafen protein family, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, particularly in the regulation of immune responses and cell differentiation. Research into SLFN5 has garnered attention due to its potential implications in cancer biology, viral infections, and autoimmune diseases. Studies have shown that SLFN5 may influence the proliferation and apoptosis of certain cell types, thereby contributing to tumorigenesis and the progression of malignancies. Furthermore, emerging evidence suggests that SLFN5 is involved in the host's defense mechanisms against viral pathogens, including its ability to inhibit viral replication. As such, recombinant SLFN5 protein has become a valuable tool for investigating its molecular functions and interactions within the cellular environment. The production and characterization of SLFN5 as a recombinant protein allow for detailed studies into its role in immune modulation and its potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the signaling pathways and molecular interactions mediated by SLFN5 could provide new insights into targeted treatments for various diseases, including cancer and viral infections. Thus, the study of SLFN5 recombinant protein not only enhances our fundamental knowledge of immune regulation but also opens doors for innovative approaches in disease management and therapeutic development.
