TOLLIP

简介
TOLLIP plays a key role in IL-1 and Toll-like receptor signaling, recruiting IRAK1 to the IL-1 receptor complex and inhibiting IRAK1 phosphorylation. It connects the ubiquitin pathway to autophagy, serving as a ubiquitin-ATG8 linker for autophagic clearance of ubiquitin conjugates. TOLLIP Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived TOLLIP protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TOLLIP (Toll-interacting protein) is a key player in the regulation of innate immunity and has garnered significant interest due to its role in modulating Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathways. TLRs are essential for the detection of pathogens and the initiation of immune responses. Dysregulation of TLR signaling can lead to various inflammatory diseases and malfunctions in immune responses. TOLLIP interacts with several components of the TLR signaling cascade, influencing downstream responses and contributing to the balance between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory signals. Research into TOLLIP's structure and function has advanced our understanding of its mechanism of action and its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant TOLLIP protein studies have enabled scientists to elucidate its interactions with TLRs and other signaling molecules, paving the way for the development of novel anti-inflammatory drugs. Furthermore, TOLLIP has been implicated in various conditions, including autoimmune disorders and sepsis, where its modulation could provide therapeutic benefits. Therefore, the recombinant production of TOLLIP protein is not only vital for basic research but also for exploring its potential in clinical applications, making it a subject of considerable interest in the field of immunology and drug development.
