简介
Cyclin A1 protein is a key regulator in the cell cycle, affecting G1/S and G2/M transitions and playing a major role in the germline meiotic cell cycle. It interacts with CDK2 and CDC2 kinase to form a holoenzyme complex that participates in the regulatory pathways of E2F-1 and RB proteins. Cyclin A1 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived Cyclin A1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Cyclin A1 is a member of the cyclin family, which plays a pivotal role in regulating the cell cycle, particularly in the transition from the G1 phase to the S phase and the subsequent progression through mitosis. Unlike other cyclins, Cyclin A1 is predominantly expressed in germ cells and certain types of cancer cells, indicating its significance in reproductive biology and oncogenesis. Research has shown that Cyclin A1 is crucial for spermatogenesis and the maintenance of stem cell properties, while its overexpression in tumors has been linked to poor prognosis and aggressive cancer behavior. The study of Cyclin A1 recombinant protein has gained traction as it enables researchers to dissect its molecular functions, interactions with cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs), and its role in cell cycle regulation. By overexpressing and purifying Cyclin A1 as a recombinant protein, scientists aim to elucidate its biochemical properties and identify potential inhibitors that could serve as therapeutic targets in cancer treatment. Furthermore, understanding the structural and functional dynamics of Cyclin A1 may provide insights into its unique regulatory mechanisms in spermatogenic cells, thereby contributing to the development of fertility treatments. Overall, the exploration of Cyclin A1 recombinant protein represents a significant avenue in both cancer research and reproductive biology, with implications for developing novel therapeutic strategies to address malignancies and infertility challenges.
