Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Integrin alpha V beta 5 is a heterodimeric cell surface receptor that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. It is primarily involved in mediating interactions between cells and the extracellular matrix (ECM), thus influencing tissue remodeling and wound healing. Abnormal expression or function of integrin alpha V beta 5 has been linked to various pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis, inflammatory diseases, and cardiovascular disorders. Research into recombinant integrin alpha V beta 5 proteins has gained significant attention as these proteins can be utilized as important tools for studying integrin biology, drug discovery, and therapeutic applications. Through recombinant expression systems, researchers can produce large quantities of this integrin, enabling detailed structural and functional analyses. Investigating the ligand-binding properties and signaling pathways associated with integrin alpha V beta 5 is essential for understanding its role in health and disease. Moreover, the availability of recombinant forms of this protein facilitates the development of integrin-targeted therapies, including integrin antagonists that may inhibit tumor growth and metastasis. Overall, the study of recombinant integrin alpha V beta 5 is pivotal in advancing our comprehension of cell-matrix interactions and fostering innovative strategies for treating integrin-related diseases.
