Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GUCY1B3 (guanylate cyclase 1B3) is a key enzyme that plays a significant role in the nitric oxide (NO) signaling pathway, which is crucial for various physiological processes, including vascular smooth muscle relaxation and phototransduction in the retina. Mutations in the GUCY1B3 gene have been linked to several disorders, such as retinal diseases leading to vision impairment and cardiovascular conditions due to dysfunctional vasodilation. Given its critical functions, understanding the structure and function of GUCY1B3 is essential. Recombinant GUCY1B3 protein can be produced for in vitro studies to elucidate its enzymatic mechanisms, interactions with NO and other signaling molecules, as well as its regulatory pathways. Through the characterization of this protein, researchers aim to explore its potential role in disease mechanisms and develop targeted therapeutic approaches. Recent advancements in protein expression techniques and purification methods have enabled the successful production of active GUCY1B3, facilitating a deeper understanding of its biochemistry and paving the way for future investigations into its implications in human health and disease.
