稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fibroblast Growth Factor 5 (FGF-5) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family, which plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and survival. It is particularly known for its involvement in hair follicle cycling, where it regulates hair growth and development. Research indicates that FGF-5 acts as an antagonist to hair follicle elongation, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in conditions related to hair loss, such as alopecia. The recombinant production of FGF-5 has garnered significant interest in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research, as it allows for the study of its biological functions and interactions in a controlled environment. Moreover, recombinant FGF-5 could be utilized in regenerative medicine and cosmetic applications, particularly in developing hair growth products. The recombinant version also serves as a valuable tool for pushing forward our understanding of FGF signaling pathways and their implications in various physiological and pathological processes. Investigations into the mechanisms by which FGF-5 influences hair follicle dynamics may pave the way for innovative treatments for hair disorders and contribute to broader applications in tissue engineering and repair. Overall, FGF-5 recombinant protein research represents a fusion of developmental biology, biotechnology, and potential therapeutic advancements, highlighting the importance of this growth factor in both academic and clinical settings.
