  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

IL-36 gamma, also known as interleukin-36 gamma, is a cytokine belonging to the IL-1 family and plays a critical role in the immune response, particularly in the context of inflammatory diseases and skin conditions. This protein has garnered significant interest due to its involvement in modulating both innate and adaptive immune responses. Research indicates that IL-36 gamma is highly expressed in inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis, where it contributes to the proliferation of keratinocytes and the activation of immune cells. The cytokine has been linked to the pathogenesis of various autoimmune diseases, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. In recent years, recombinant IL-36 gamma proteins have been developed for research purposes, allowing scientists to investigate their biological functions and therapeutic potential. These studies aim to elucidate the mechanisms by which IL-36 gamma influences inflammation and identify possible pathways for intervention in disease processes. By better understanding this cytokine's role, researchers hope to develop novel treatments that could alleviate symptoms in conditions driven by excessive inflammation, thereby improving patient outcomes. Therefore, exploring IL-36 gamma through recombinant protein studies is crucial for advancing our knowledge of immune regulation and developing targeted therapies for inflammatory diseases.
