Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDH16, also known as cadherin-16, is a member of the cadherin superfamily, which plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling within the kidney and other tissues. It is primarily expressed in the renal collecting duct system and is believed to be involved in the regulation of kidney development and function. Dysregulation of CDH16 has been implicated in various renal disorders, including nephrogenic diabetes insipidus and other conditions affecting water and electrolyte balance. Given its significance in kidney physiology, the recombinant expression and characterization of CDH16 protein have garnered considerable interest in research settings. Scientists aim to elucidate its structural properties, interaction mechanisms, and functional roles in cellular processes through recombinant techniques. This involves using recombinant DNA technology to produce CDH16 in suitable expression systems, allowing for extensive biochemical and biophysical analyses. Understanding the structure-function relationship of CDH16 could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting renal diseases and provide insights into cadherin-mediated cellular interactions in other biological contexts. Additionally, studying the reconstructions of CDH16 could facilitate the development of specific inhibitors or enhancers that can modulate its activity, thereby influencing kidney function and potentially addressing various pathologies linked to its dysfunction. As such, the investigation of CDH16 recombinant protein serves as a crucial step toward unraveling its biological significance and therapeutic potential in the field of nephrology and beyond.
