Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ELMO1 (Ena/VASP-like protein 1) is a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes, particularly in cell migration and immune responses. It is a part of the ELMO family of proteins that facilitates the interaction between Rho GTPases and the cellular machinery responsible for actin cytoskeleton remodeling. Research has indicated that ELMO1 plays a significant role in the development and progression of several diseases, including cancer, by influencing the metastatic behavior of tumor cells. Its aberrant expression has been correlated with increased invasiveness and poor prognosis in various cancer types. Moreover, ELMO1 is implicated in the regulation of the immune system, particularly in macrophage differentiation and activation. Understanding the structure and function of ELMO1 at the molecular level is essential for elucidating its role in both normal physiology and pathological conditions. The study of ELMO1 recombinant protein enables researchers to investigate its functional properties, interactions, and post-translational modifications, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies targeting ELMO1-related pathways. By generating ELMO1 recombinant protein, scientists aim to explore its biochemical characteristics, establish its role in cell signaling, and assess its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in diseases characterized by dysregulated cellular behavior. This research could ultimately contribute to the development of novel interventions aimed at mitigating the pathological effects associated with ELMO1 dysregulation, thus underscoring the significance of ELMO1 in both health and disease.
