  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Wnt6, a member of the Wnt signaling pathway, plays a crucial role in cell proliferation, differentiation, and fate specification during embryonic development and tissue homeostasis. Its significance extends to various physiological processes, including organogenesis, nervogenesis, and the regulation of stem cell behavior. Dysregulation of Wnt signaling, including Wnt6, has been implicated in a range of diseases, such as cancer and degenerative disorders. As researchers seek to understand the mechanisms underlying these pathologies, the development of recombinant Wnt6 protein has become a focal point. Recombinant Wnt6 can be produced using various expression systems, facilitating detailed studies of its functional properties and interactions with receptors like Frizzled and LRP5/6. Investigating Wnt6’s roles in specific biological contexts can provide insights into its potential therapeutic applications, such as regenerative medicine, where manipulating Wnt signaling pathways could enhance tissue repair and regeneration. Furthermore, the availability of purified recombinant Wnt6 protein may enable high-throughput screening for small molecule modulators, advancing drug discovery efforts targeting Wnt-related diseases. Overall, the research surrounding Wnt6 recombinant protein not only deepens our understanding of fundamental biological processes but also opens avenues for innovative treatment strategies.
