Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPP2R4, also known as protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit B' gamma, is an important component of the protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) complex, which plays a critical role in regulating various cellular processes, including cell division, signal transduction, and apoptosis. Research into PPP2R4 has gained momentum due to its involvement in several diseases, particularly cancer, where dysregulation of PP2A activity is frequently observed. The regulatory subunit PPP2R4 is key in determining the specificity and activity of PP2A, thus influencing various signaling pathways. Studies have shown that altered expression or mutations of PPP2R4 can lead to aberrant cellular functions, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Furthermore, understanding the structural and functional dynamics of PPP2R4 can provide insights into its role in cellular signaling and its potential as a biomarker for certain conditions. Researchers utilize techniques such as recombinant protein expression and purification to study the functional properties of PPP2R4 and its interactions with other proteins, aiming to elucidate the mechanisms by which it modulates PP2A activity and impacts cellular physiology. As cancer therapy increasingly focuses on targeted treatments, elucidating the role of PPP2R4 in tumorigenesis and its potential as a drug target remains a critical area of investigation.
