Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PTPRU (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type U) is a member of the receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, which plays critical roles in various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and signaling pathways. Studies have shown that PTPRU is involved in neuronal development and may influence synaptic plasticity, making it a potential target for understanding neurological disorders. The research surrounding PTPRU has gained attention due to its association with several diseases, including cancer, where altered expression and activity of PTPs can lead to dysregulated signaling and tumor progression. Additionally, PTPRU has been implicated in the immune response, suggesting a broader role in modulating inflammatory processes. The recombinant expression of PTPRU facilitates functional studies, allowing researchers to investigate its specific interactions and regulatory mechanisms. By producing and characterizing PTPRU in vitro, scientists aim to elucidate its role in health and disease, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structure-function relationship of PTPRU can provide valuable insights into its biological significance and contribute to the development of targeted treatment strategies for conditions associated with its dysregulation.
