Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PYCARD, also known as ASC (apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD), is a crucial adaptor protein involved in the immune response and inflammation. It plays a significant role in the formation of multiprotein complexes known as inflammasomes, which are critical for the activation of inflammatory caspases and the subsequent processing of pro-inflammatory cytokines like IL-1β and IL-18. The dysregulation of PYCARD and its associated pathways has been linked to various inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders, and even cancer, making it a target of interest in biomedical research. Studies have shown that PYCARD can interact with several other proteins, including pathogen-associated molecular pattern receptors, which further highlights its integral role in the innate immune system. The recombinant production of PYCARD protein allows researchers to study its structure, function, and interactions in a controlled environment, providing insights into how alterations in its signaling pathways contribute to disease. Understanding PYCARD's mechanisms could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating inflammatory responses in various clinical conditions. This area of research continues to be pivotal, particularly with increasing interest in targeting inflammasome-related pathways for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
