Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CHRNb3, a member of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) family, plays a pivotal role in neurotransmission and synaptic plasticity. Research into CHRNb3 recombinant proteins has gained momentum due to their potential implications in neurobiology and pharmacology. The nAChR family, consisting of various subunits, is involved in multiple physiological processes, including muscle contraction and cognitive functions. CHRNb3, specifically, has been linked to the modulation of dopaminergic pathways, which could influence behaviors associated with reward and addiction. Studies suggest that aberrations in CHRNb3 expression or function are implicated in neuropsychiatric disorders and may contribute to the pathophysiology of conditions such as schizophrenia and depression. The recombinant forms of CHRNb3 allow for detailed investigation of its structure-function relationship, aiding in the identification of therapeutic targets and the development of new pharmacological agents. By employing techniques such as site-directed mutagenesis and functional assays, researchers can elucidate the receptor's role in neurotransmission and assess its potential as a drug target. Overall, the study of CHRNb3 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of nAChR biology but also holds promise for the development of strategies to address neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.
