Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPAG1 (sperm-associated antigen 1) is a protein primarily expressed in the male reproductive system, particularly during spermatogenesis, playing a crucial role in sperm motility and fertility. Its significance has garnered attention in both reproductive biology and potential therapeutic developments. Research into SPAG1 is driven by the need to understand male infertility, which affects a substantial portion of the population, and the protein's involvement in sperm functionality provides a potential biomarker for male fertility assessment. Additionally, studies suggest SPAG1 may be implicated in various cellular processes, including cell signaling and motility, extending its relevance beyond reproduction. Investigating the recombinant form of SPAG1 allows researchers to explore its structural properties and functional mechanisms. This research aims to elucidate the role of SPAG1 in sperm development and assess its potential use in fertility treatments and diagnostic tools. Furthermore, understanding the interactions of SPAG1 with other proteins could provide insights into male reproductive health and lead to innovative approaches for addressing infertility issues. Overall, SPAG1 serves as an important focal point for advancing our knowledge of male fertility and developing prospective interventions to improve reproductive outcomes.
