Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CALM2, or Calmodulin 2, is a crucial calcium-binding messenger protein that plays a vital role in various cellular processes, including muscle contraction, signal transduction, and enzymatic activation. Research on CALM2 is driven by its involvement in several physiological and pathological conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, and cancer. Given its implications in calcium signaling pathways, understanding the structure and function of CALM2 is essential for developing therapeutic strategies targeting these pathways. The study of recombinant CALM2 proteins allows researchers to investigate the protein's interactions with calcium ions and binding partners at a molecular level. This has led to insights into how CALM2 modulates the activity of various enzymes and ion channels, facilitating a better understanding of cellular responses to calcium fluctuations. Furthermore, recombinant CALM2 can serve as a valuable tool for exploring its role in disease mechanisms and testing potential drugs that could intervene in aberrant calcium signaling. Overall, the exploration of CALM2 through recombinant protein technology presents significant opportunities for advancing knowledge in biochemistry and molecular biology, with promising implications for health and disease management.
