  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PITPNM1 (Phosphatidylinositol Transfer Protein, Membrane-Associated 1) is a crucial member of the phosphatidylinositol transfer protein family, which plays a significant role in lipid metabolism and cell signaling. It is implicated in various cellular processes, including membrane trafficking, signal transduction, and the regulation of lipid signaling pathways. Research has revealed that PITPNM1 is involved in the transport of phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine between membranes, thus influencing membrane composition and cellular functions. Dysregulation of PITPNM1 has been associated with several diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic syndromes, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions. The study of recombinant PITPNM1 protein allows for in-depth analyses of its structure and function, facilitating the exploration of its role in cellular pathways and processes. Recombinant protein studies also provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underpinning PITPNM1's involvement in disease, potentially leading to the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. As research progresses, understanding PITPNM1's functional dynamics and interactions within the cell will be essential for elucidating its contributions to health and disease.
