  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

I-309, also known as CCL1 (chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 1), is a chemokine that is increasingly recognized for its role in immune response and inflammation. This small protein is primarily involved in the recruitment and activation of lymphocytes, particularly T cells and eosinophils, to sites of inflammation. The study of I-309/CCL1 has gained traction due to its potential implications in various diseases, including asthma, allergies, and autoimmune disorders, where enhanced immune responses contribute to pathology. Research has focused on understanding its signaling mechanisms and biological functions, particularly through its interaction with the CCR8 receptor, which is predominantly expressed on Th2 cells and regulatory T cells. Moreover, the therapeutic potential of targeting the I-309/CCL1 axis has been explored in the context of modulating immune responses, offering avenues for novel treatments in inflammatory and allergic diseases. Recombinant I-309/CCL1 proteins have been utilized in studies to elucidate their role in chemotaxis, cell signaling, and to explore their utility in therapeutic applications such as vaccine development and anti-inflammatory strategies. The ongoing research into this chemokine highlights its significance in the broader context of immunology and its promise as a target for innovative therapeutic interventions.
