Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Adiponectin (ADPN) is an essential adipokine primarily secreted by adipose tissue, known for its significant role in regulating glucose levels and fatty acid breakdown. Research over the years has increasingly highlighted its beneficial effects on insulin sensitivity and its protective role against metabolic disorders, including type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. The structure of adiponectin, comprising different oligomeric forms such as trimers, hexamers, and high-molecular-weight complexes, influences its biological activities and interactions within various signaling pathways. Recombinant adiponectin has emerged as a valuable tool for elucidating its mechanisms of action and therapeutic potential. Studies have focused on expressing and purifying recombinant forms of adiponectin to investigate their physiological roles and effects in cell and animal models. Investigating ADPN's protective mechanisms, such as its anti-inflammatory and anti-atherogenic properties, has opened new avenues for potential treatments for metabolic syndrome and related complications. Overall, the research surrounding recombinant adiponectin not only enhances our understanding of its metabolic functions but also contributes to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting obesity and its associated disorders.
