Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCARD1 (SCP2 and CD3-γ associated regulatory protein 1) is a member of the SCAR (suppressor of cAMP receptor protein) family, which has garnered interest in recent years due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including immune response and regulation of apoptosis. Research indicates that SCARD1 plays a critical role in modulating signaling pathways and influencing the interaction between immune receptors and their downstream targets. Its expression has been associated with multiple diseases, notably autoimmune disorders and cancers, making it a potential biomarker for disease progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. The understanding of SCARD1's structure and function has been enhanced through the study of its recombinant protein, which allows for detailed investigation of its biochemical properties and interactions. This recombinant form enables researchers to dissect the mechanisms by which SCARD1 influences cellular signaling networks, providing insights into how dysregulation of this protein may contribute to pathological conditions. Furthermore, the characterization of SCARD1 as a unique immunomodulatory protein opens avenues for developing novel strategies in immunotherapy and precision medicine. Ongoing studies focus on elucidating the functional domains of SCARD1 and its post-translational modifications to comprehend its precise role in health and disease, ultimately contributing to the design of targeted therapies that could exploit SCARD1's regulatory functions.
