Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CA27.29 is a biomarker primarily used in the monitoring of breast cancer, specifically for evaluating treatment response and detecting recurrence. This protein is a fragment of the MUC1 mucin, which is often overexpressed in breast cancer cells. The research surrounding CA27.29 is driven by the need for reliable tumor markers that can offer insights into the progression of the disease. Elevated levels of CA27.29 in the bloodstream have been correlated with advanced stages of breast cancer, providing valuable prognostic information. The development of recombinant CA27.29 proteins has facilitated the investigation into their biological functions and roles in tumor biology. Studies have focused on understanding its immunological properties and potential applications in targeted therapies and vaccine development. Additionally, the use of CA27.29 in clinical settings aims to refine patient monitoring protocols, enhance early detection of cancer recurrence, and inform therapeutic decisions. Recent advances in molecular biology techniques have enabled the production of high-purity recombinant CA27.29, which is critical for both basic research and clinical applications. Overall, the exploration of CA27.29 holds promise for improving breast cancer management and patient outcomes by providing a robust tool for diagnosis and treatment evaluation.
