  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CTXIII, a recombinant protein derived from the cholera toxin, has garnered significant attention in the fields of immunology and vaccine development due to its unique properties. Cholera toxin is known for its strong adjuvant effect, which enhances the immune response, making CTXIII a promising candidate for researchers aiming to improve vaccine efficacy. Studies have indicated that CTXIII can stimulate both humoral and cellular immune responses, promoting the production of antibodies and the activation of T cells. This dual action may enhance the effectiveness of vaccines against various pathogens, including those responsible for infectious diseases. Furthermore, the recombinant nature of CTXIII allows for safer application in clinical settings, as it can be produced without the risk of pathogenesis associated with natural cholera toxin. Additionally, ongoing research is exploring its potential role in cancer immunotherapy, where it may help to elicit robust immune responses against tumor cells. The versatility and promising characteristics of CTXIII make it a focal point of current research efforts, aiming to harness its properties for broad applications in health science, including vaccines, therapeutic treatments, and enhancing overall immune defense mechanisms.
