ENPP-3

简介
ENPP3 is a hydrolase that metabolizes extracellular nucleotides, including ATP, GTP, UTP, and CTP, and plays a key role in immune regulation. It modulates mast cell and basophil responses during inflammation and chronic allergic phases by eliminating extracellular ATP, a trigger for inflammatory cytokine release. ENPP-3 Protein, Human (828a.a, HEK293, hFc) is the recombinant human-derived ENPP-3 protein, expressed by HEK293, with N-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ENPP-3 (ectonucleotide triphosphate diphosphohydrolase-3), a member of the ecto-nucleotide triphosphate diphosphohydrolase family, plays a vital role in nucleotide metabolism and cell signaling. It is primarily involved in the hydrolysis of extracellular nucleotide triphosphates, leading to the modulation of purinergic signaling pathways. Research has shown that ENPP-3 is expressed in various tissues, particularly in the human brain and immune cells, suggesting its importance in both neurological functions and immune responses. Abnormal ENPP-3 activity has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cancer progression and neurodegenerative diseases. The recombinant expression and purification of ENPP-3 protein are essential for understanding its structure-function relationships and biochemical properties. Utilizing techniques such as molecular cloning and expression in suitable host systems (like bacteria or yeast), researchers aim to obtain sufficient amounts of intact ENPP-3 for functional assays and structural studies. These efforts contribute to elucidating the mechanism by which ENPP-3 regulates nucleotide homeostasis and its impact on cellular communication, potentially revealing therapeutic targets for diseases where ENPP-3 activity is dysregulated. Furthermore, understanding the biological significance of ENPP-3 encapsulated in recombinant form paves the way for future innovations in drug development, where modulating its activity could lead to novel treatments for various ailments.
