简介
In the Hippo signaling pathway, MOB4A/MOB1B is a key activator that controls organ size and suppresses tumors by regulating proliferation and promoting apoptosis. This pathway involves a kinase cascade in which STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1 together with the regulatory protein SAV1 activate LATS1/2. MOB4A/MOB1B Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived MOB4A/MOB1B protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MOB4A and MOB1B are proteins that belong to the MOb (Mps one binder) family, which play crucial roles in cell signaling and the regulation of various cellular processes, including cell growth, division, and apoptosis. Recent research has highlighted their significant involvement in the Hippo signaling pathway, a key regulator of organ size and tissue homeostasis. Abnormalities in this pathway are implicated in various diseases, including cancer. The study of MOB4A and MOB1B has gained attention because their interactions with core components of the Hippo pathway, such as MST1/2 kinases, are vital for the transduction of growth inhibition signals. Furthermore, these proteins may influence pathways related to stem cell behavior and regenerative processes. By understanding the structure and function of MOB4A and MOB1B through recombinant protein expression and purification, researchers aim to elucidate their molecular mechanisms and potential roles in pathological conditions. This research could open avenues for developing targeted therapies that modulate these proteins to restore normal signaling pathways and address diseases associated with their dysregulation.
