稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Carbonic Anhydrase 12 (CA12) is a member of the carbonic anhydrase family of enzymes, which play crucial roles in regulating pH and maintaining acid-base balance in various biological systems. Unlike other isoforms, CA12 is primarily expressed in certain tissues such as the kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, and some tumors, making it a potential biomarker for various diseases, including cancers. The enzyme catalyzes the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide to bicarbonate, a reaction critical in processes such as respiration and nutrient transport. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of CA12 as a therapeutic target, particularly in tumor biology, where its overexpression is often linked to enhanced tumor growth and metastasis. Recombinant CA12 protein has been produced to better understand its enzymatic properties, structural characteristics, and role in physiological and pathological processes. Research on CA12 not only aids in elucidating its functions but also paves the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in disease contexts. The ongoing exploration of CA12 as a biomarker and therapeutic target underscores its significance in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology, warranting further investigation into its broader implications in health and disease.
