简介
MFAP3 (microfibril-associated protein 3) is a protein that plays a crucial role in maintaining cell structure. As a component of elastin-related microfibrils, it is essential in providing structural integrity and elasticity to various tissues in the body. MFAP3 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived MFAP3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MFAP3 (Microfibril-associated protein 3) is a member of the MFAP family, which plays a critical role in the structural integrity and functionality of extracellular matrices. This protein is primarily associated with elastic fibers and is believed to contribute to the stabilization of microfibrils in connective tissues. Recent studies have indicated that MFAP3 can influence cellular processes such as proliferation, migration, and apoptosis, making it a candidate for research in various fields, including developmental biology, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. Furthermore, aberrant expression of MFAP3 has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cardiovascular diseases and certain types of cancer. The recombinant expression of MFAP3 allows for detailed studies of its structural properties and biological functions, facilitating the exploration of its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker. The ability to produce MFAP3 in a controlled environment also aids in uncovering its interactions with other extracellular matrix components, thereby enhancing our understanding of its role in tissue homeostasis and disease progression. Overall, the recombinant MFAP3 protein stands as a significant focus in the investigation of extracellular matrix dynamics and its implications in health and disease.
