  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

EEF1B2, a member of the eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 (eEF1) family, plays a crucial role in the protein synthesis process by facilitating the delivery of aminoacyl-tRNAs to the ribosome during translation. Research on EEF1B2 has gained traction due to its significant involvement in cellular growth, proliferation, and stress response, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in various diseases, including cancer. Dysregulation of EEF1B2 has been associated with altered cellular metabolism and RNA processing, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Recent studies have focused on the functional characterization of EEF1B2 through recombinant protein techniques, allowing for in-depth analysis of its domain structure, binding interactions with other translation factors, and potential post-translational modifications. Understanding the biochemical pathways involving EEF1B2 can provide insights into its role in translational control and cellular function, further underlining its relevance in pathophysiological conditions. Additionally, the development of recombinant EEF1B2 has paved the way for high-throughput screening methods to identify small molecule inhibitors or modulators, offering promising avenues for therapeutic intervention. Overall, the study of recombinant EEF1B2 protein not only enhances our comprehension of translation dynamics but also opens new possibilities for designing novel strategies aimed at regulating protein synthesis in diseases characterized by aberrant translation.
