稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Kallikrein-3, also known as Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA), is a serine protease encoded by the KLK3 gene and primarily expressed in the prostate. Its discovery and subsequent role as a biomarker for prostate cancer diagnosis and monitoring have been pivotal in the field of urology. Elevated PSA levels in serum are often associated with prostate malignancies, leading to its use in screening and management protocols. However, PSA is not exclusively a cancer marker, as benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatitis can also raise PSA levels, complicating its clinical utility. The recombinant production of Kallikrein-3 has enabled significant advancements in research and therapeutic applications. By generating large quantities of pure, functional PSA, scientists can conduct detailed studies on its biochemical properties, interactions with various molecules, and its role in prostate cancer progression. Furthermore, recombinant PSA is essential for developing more precise diagnostic tools and evaluating new therapeutic approaches, including anti-PSA antibodies and targeted therapies. As research continues, understanding the nuances of Kallikrein-3 will likely lead to enhanced strategies for early cancer detection, individualized treatment options, and improved patient outcomes in prostate cancer management. The ongoing exploration of Kallikrein-3's functions and mechanisms underscores the importance of this protein in both basic research and clinical applications in oncology.
