稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Gamma-GCS (Gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase) is a critical enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of glutathione, a potent antioxidant that plays a crucial role in cellular defense against oxidative stress. The dysregulation of glutathione metabolism has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and cardiovascular disorders. Research on recombinant Gamma-GCS proteins has gained attention due to their potential therapeutic applications, such as enhancing cellular antioxidant capacity and counteracting oxidative damage in disease models. The production of recombinant Gamma-GCS facilitates detailed studies of its enzymatic activity, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other cellular pathways. Furthermore, understanding the structural and functional properties of this enzyme can provide insights into the development of novel strategies for disease intervention and prevention. Given the increasing prevalence of oxidative stress-related diseases, the exploration of Gamma-GCS and its recombinant forms could pave the way for innovative therapeutic approaches that harness the protective effects of glutathione and improve health outcomes.
