简介
GCSH protein, a vital component of the glycine cleavage system, efficiently shuttles the methylamine group of glycine from the P protein (GLDC) to the T protein (GCST), contributing to glycine degradation. GCSH Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived GCSH protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GCSH (Glycine Cysteine Serine Histidine) recombinant proteins are an area of significant interest in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry due to their pivotal role in cellular functions and enzymatic processes. Researchers have been particularly focused on understanding GCSH’s involvement in the synthesis of key biomolecules and its potential implications in various diseases. The heterogeneity of GCSH’s structure and its interaction with various cellular pathways make it a critical target for drug discovery and therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, the ability to produce GCSH as a recombinant protein enables scientists to perform detailed biochemical assays, structural analyses, and functional studies, thereby elucidating its role in metabolism and cell signaling. Given the increasing recognition of protein misfolding and aggregation in pathologies such as neurodegenerative diseases, GCSH has garnered attention as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The advances in recombinant DNA technology have facilitated the large-scale production of GCSH, empowering researchers to explore its functions and therapeutic potential comprehensively. Understanding the intricate dynamics of GCSH not only contributes to basic biological knowledge but also opens avenues for novel therapeutic strategies, making it a vital focus in contemporary protein research.
