简介
The Aminoacylase-1 protein plays an important role in cellular processes as it catalyzes the hydrolysis of N-acetylated amino acids, promoting the conversion of these compounds into acetate and free amino acids. This enzymatic activity highlights the importance of Aminoacylase-1 in the metabolic pathways responsible for the breakdown of N-acetylated amino acids, helping to release essential amino acids and acetate as by-products. Aminoacylase-1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Aminoacylase-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Aminoacylase-1 (ACY1) is an important enzyme involved in the metabolism of amino acids, specifically responsible for the hydrolysis of N-acylated amino acids into their corresponding free amino acids. It plays a significant role in various physiological processes, including protein synthesis, metabolic regulation, and neurotransmission. Dysfunction or deficiency of ACY1 has been associated with metabolic disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, making it a target of interest for therapeutic research. The recombinant expression of ACY1 allows for the production of large quantities of the enzyme for structural and functional studies, providing insights into its catalytic mechanisms and potential interactions with inhibitors or substrates. Recent studies have focused on the purification and characterization of recombinant ACY1 to explore its enzymatic properties and substrate specificity. Understanding the structure-function relationship of ACY1 may lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to amino acid metabolism. With advances in genetic engineering and protein expression technologies, research is ongoing to optimize the yield and functionality of recombinant ACY1, paving the way for its application in biochemical studies and potential clinical interventions.
