稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Kallikrein-5 (KLK5) is a member of the kallikrein-related peptidase family, which plays significant roles in various physiological processes, including skin homeostasis, tissue remodeling, and inflammation. This serine protease is predominantly expressed in the skin and has been implicated in both normal and pathological conditions, such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. Research on KLK5 has gained interest due to its potential as a biomarker for skin diseases and its involvement in the regulation of keratinocyte function. The enzyme is associated with the processing of other proteins and may influence skin barrier integrity and immune responses. Given its dual role in both protective and pathological mechanisms, understanding the molecular characteristics and biological functions of recombinant KLK5 could provide valuable insights into therapeutic targets for skin disorders. The recombinant expression of KLK5 facilitates the study of its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and interactions with other proteins, contributing to a deeper understanding of its role in skin physiology and pathology. Furthermore, research on KLK5 may lead to the development of novel treatments and diagnostic tools for skin diseases, emphasizing the importance of this protein in dermatological research.
