IL-27 beta

简介
The IL-27 protein together with IL23A forms IL-23 interleukin, a key cytokine in innate and adaptive immunity. It is associated with infection responses, binds to IL12RB1 and IL23R receptor complexes, and activates Jak-Stat signaling. Animal-Free IL-27 beta EBI3 Protein, Mouse (His) is the recombinant mouse-derived animal-FreeIL-27 EBI3 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-His labeled tag. This product is for cell culture use only.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-27 is a member of the interleukin-6/12 cytokine family, primarily produced by antigen-presenting cells, and plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses. Its structure consists of two subunits, p28 and Ebi3, which together form the biologically active heterodimer. The beta subunit of IL-27, specifically the Ebi3 component, has garnered significant interest in immunological research due to its involvement in promoting T helper 1 (Th1) cell differentiation, inhibiting Th2 cell responses, and modulating the activity of regulatory T cells. Dysregulation of IL-27 signaling has been associated with various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, including multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer. The recombinant production of IL-27 beta (Ebi3) protein allows for detailed studies into its biological functions and potential therapeutic applications. Researchers are exploring how modulating IL-27 signaling could provide new avenues for treating immune-related conditions by either enhancing or inhibiting its activity. Given its complex role in both promoting and regulating immune responses, understanding the mechanisms through which IL-27 beta operates can contribute to the development of novel immunotherapies and enhance our grasp of the immune system’s intricate dynamics.
