简介
Syntaxin-7 protein is a central player in protein trafficking and membrane fusion events. It guides proteins from the plasma membrane to early endosomes, facilitates homotypic fusion of endocytic organelles, and mediates transport from early endosomes to late endosomes and lysosomes. Syntaxin-7 Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) is the recombinant rat-derived Syntaxin-7 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Syntaxin-7 is a member of theSyntaxin family of proteins, which are integral to the processes of membrane fusion and intracellular trafficking. This protein plays a crucial role in the fusion of late endosomal and lysosomal membranes, facilitating the transport and degradation of various biomolecules. Research into Syntaxin-7 is particularly important due to its involvement in several cellular functions, including nutrient uptake, immune response, and the clearance of cellular debris. Dysregulation of Syntaxin-7 has been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and certain cancers, highlighting the need for a deeper understanding of its mechanisms. Recombinant Syntaxin-7 protein studies aim to elucidate its structure and functional properties, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions. By generating and characterizing this protein, researchers can investigate its interactions with other proteins involved in vesicular transport, understand its role in cellular homeostasis, and explore its potential as a target for drug development. The ongoing research on Syntaxin-7 thereby provides insights into fundamental cellular processes and opens avenues for novel therapeutic strategies.
