The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MAPKAPK3 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase-Activated Protein Kinase 3) is a serine-threonine kinase that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and response to stress. It acts downstream of the p38 MAPK pathway, which is activated by various stimuli such as cytokines, growth factors, and environmental stresses. The understanding of MAPKAPK3's functions has expanded in recent years, revealing its involvement in several pathological conditions, including inflammation, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer. In particular, MAPKAPK3 regulates the stability of mRNA and the translation of stress response proteins, which are vital for cellular adaptation to adverse conditions. Given its prominent role in mediating cellular responses, MAPKAPK3 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target. Recent studies have focused on the development and characterization of recombinant MAPKAPK3 proteins to elucidate their biochemical properties and interactions with substrates or inhibitors. These investigations aim to provide deeper insights into its regulatory mechanisms and biological functions, paving the way for novel interventions in diseases associated with dysregulated MAPKAPK3 activity. Understanding the structure-function relationship of MAPKAPK3 through recombinant proteins can lead to targeted drug design and the development of therapeutic strategies that modulate its activity for clinical applications.
