Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAMK1 alpha, or calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 1 alpha, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including muscle contraction, gene expression, and neuronal signaling. As a member of the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family, CAMK1 alpha is activated in response to increases in intracellular calcium levels, which links calcium signaling to numerous biological effects. Research has shown that CAMK1 alpha is involved in critical physiological processes such as synaptic plasticity, which is vital for learning and memory, as well as in the regulation of circadian rhythms. Dysregulation of CAMK1 alpha has been implicated in several pathologies, including neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. Therefore, the study of recombinant CAMK1 alpha protein is of significant interest to elucidate its function, regulatory mechanisms, and potential therapeutic targets. By producing and characterizing recombinant CAMK1 alpha, researchers aim to gain insights into its biochemical properties and interactions with other proteins in signaling pathways. This knowledge may contribute to the understanding of its role in health and disease, potentially leading to novel interventions or drug developments. Overall, the exploration of CAMK1 alpha at the molecular level represents an important frontier in the research of cellular signaling and its implications for human health.
