稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DEFA1 (Defensin Alpha 1) is a gene that encodes an antimicrobial peptide belonging to the defensin family, which plays a crucial role in the innate immune response. This protein is predominantly expressed in neutrophils and epithelial cells, where it functions to protect against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Research on DEFA1 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in inflammatory diseases, infections, and even cancer. Variations in DEFA1 expression and gene polymorphisms have been associated with susceptibility to various diseases, highlighting its importance in host defense mechanisms. The recombinant expression of DEFA1 has become a focal point of study, enabling scientists to explore its structural properties, antimicrobial efficiency, and potential therapeutic applications. By producing DEFA1 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its role in immune responses, investigate its interactions with microbial targets, and assess its potential as a novel antimicrobial agent. Moreover, understanding the functional aspects of DEFA1 could pave the way for innovative strategies in treating infectious diseases and enhancing the body’s natural defenses against pathogens. Overall, the investigation of DEFA1 recombinant protein is not only significant for fundamental immunology but also holds promise for developing new biomedical applications.
