简介
The MRCKα protein is a key serine/threonine protein kinase downstream of CDC42 that coordinates cytoskeletal dynamics and cell migration. MRCKα phosphorylates PPP1R12C and MYL9/MLC2, regulating actin reorganization. MRCKα Protein, Human (sf9, GST) is the recombinant human-derived MRCKα protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with N-GST labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MRCKα (myotonic dystrophy kinase-related CDC42-binding kinase alpha) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes, including cell motility, growth, and regulation of the cytoskeleton. Research into MRCKα has gained significant attention due to its involvement in cancer progression and metastasis, as it is often upregulated in various cancer types. The understanding of MRCKα's function is crucial for elucidating its role in oncogenic signaling pathways, specifically its interaction with the small GTPase CDC42, which is integral to actin remodeling and cell migration. Furthermore, the development of MRCKα as a therapeutic target highlights the need for in-depth studies on its structural and functional properties. Recombinant MRCKα protein production allows researchers to investigate its kinase activity, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms in vitro, providing insights into how aberrations in its signaling contribute to malignancies. By producing and characterizing MRCKα, scientists aim to uncover potential inhibitors that could serve as novel cancer therapies. This research not only enhances our understanding of MRCKα's biological roles but also paves the way for the development of targeted interventions in cancer treatment, emphasizing the importance of a detailed analysis of this kinase in various pathological contexts.
