简介
Thymosin alpha protein is a multifunctional player that may mediate immune function by fighting opportunistic infections. It binds to NUPR1, suggesting regulation of the apoptotic process. Prothymosin alpha Protein, Rat (P.pastoris, His) is the recombinant rat-derived Prothymosin alpha protein, expressed by P. pastoris , with N-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Prothymosin alpha (ProTα) is a highly conserved polypeptide involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Initially discovered in the thymus, ProTα plays a significant role in the immune system by influencing T-cell development and function. Research has shown that ProTα is not only essential for immune regulation but also has implications in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. Its multifunctional nature has led to increased interest in the therapeutic potential of ProTα as an immunomodulatory agent. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production of ProTα in a laboratory setting, enabling detailed studies of its biological properties and potential applications. The recombinant ProTα protein serves as a valuable tool for understanding its mechanisms of action and for exploring its efficacy in immunotherapy and regenerative medicine. Furthermore, characterizing the structure-function relationships of ProTα could provide insights into its role as a target for drug development, contributing to the advancement of novel therapeutic strategies. As research progresses, ProTα continues to emerge as a promising candidate for enhancing immune responses and improving the outcomes of various immunological conditions.
