简介
PRKG2 protein is a key regulator that activates CFTR to promote intestinal secretion and affect bone growth. It phosphorylates CFTR, coordinating cGMP-dependent translocation in the jejunum. PRKG2 Protein, Human (sf9, GST) is the recombinant human-derived PRKG2 protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with N-GST labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKG2, a member of the protein kinase G (PKG) family, plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including vascular smooth muscle relaxation and regulation of neurotransmission. Dysregulation of PRKG2 has been implicated in various cardiovascular diseases and other pathologies, making it an attractive target for therapeutic intervention. Research has focused on its signaling pathways and regulatory mechanisms to better understand its functions and implications in health and disease. Recombinant PRKG2 protein studies provide insights into its enzymatic properties, catalytic activity, and potential interactions with substrates and inhibitors. This research is vital not only for therapeutic applications but also for designing targeted drugs that can modulate its activity in disease states. Investigating the structure-function relationship of PRKG2 through recombinant expression systems allows for the exploration of post-translational modifications and protein-protein interactions that can influence its function. As our understanding of PRKG2 deepens, it opens up new avenues for research and potential clinical applications, highlighting the importance of recombinant protein studies in translating basic biochemical knowledge into therapeutic strategies.
