Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HLA-A*02:01 is a prominent human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecule that plays a critical role in the immune response by presenting peptides to cytotoxic T cells. The β2-microglobulin (B2M) is an essential component of HLA class I complexes, stabilizing their structure. MAGE-A3 is a cancer/testis (CT) antigen that is specifically expressed in various tumors but not in normal tissues, making it a valuable target for immunotherapy. The peptide KVAELVHFL derived from MAGE-A3 is known to elicit a strong T cell response in individuals with HLA-A*02:01. The recombinant monomeric form of HLA-A*02:01 complexed with B2M and the MAGE-A3 peptide KVAELVHFL serves as an important tool for studying T cell recognition and the development of targeted cancer vaccines. This recombinant protein allows researchers to investigate the molecular interactions between T cell receptors and the peptide-HLA complex, enhancing our understanding of immune evasion in tumors and improving strategies for cancer immunotherapy. Insights gained from the study of this monomeric complex can aid in the design of more effective vaccines and therapeutic approaches that harness the body's immune system to eliminate tumor cells expressing MAGE-A3, thereby contributing to advancements in personalized cancer treatment.
