简介
CSK protein is a non-receptor tyrosine protein kinase that regulates cell growth, differentiation, migration and immune responses by phosphorylating Src family kinases (SFK) (such as LCK, SRC, HCK, FYN, LYN, CSK or YES1) . This phosphorylation induces SFK to form an inactive conformation, thereby inhibiting signaling by receptors such as T cell receptor (TCR) and B cell receptor (BCR). CSK Protein, Mouse (sf9) is the recombinant mouse-derived CSK protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with tag free.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CSK (C-terminal Src kinase) is a crucial regulator of Src family kinases (SFKs), which are involved in various cellular processes, including proliferation, differentiation, and survival. The dysregulation of SFKs is often implicated in cancer and other diseases, making CSK a critical focus of research for therapeutic interventions. CSK acts as a negative regulator by phosphorylating the Src kinase at a specific tyrosine residue, thereby inhibiting its activity. The study of CSK's structure and function has gained momentum, as understanding its mechanism could lead to novel strategies for modulating SFK activity in pathological conditions. Despite significant progress in elucidating the biological roles of CSK, the molecular details of its interactions with different phosphatases and kinases remain poorly defined. Recent advancements in techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy have opened new avenues for visualizing the CSK protein structure in various states, providing insights into its regulatory functions. By dissecting the intricate signaling pathways involving CSK, researchers aim to identify potential targets for drug development that could either mimic or enhance CSK's inhibitory effects on SFKs or restore its function in cases where it is downregulated. Consequently, the ongoing research on CSK and its recombinant proteins is pivotal for advancing our understanding of cellular signaling networks and developing innovative therapeutic approaches to combat SFK-related diseases.
