稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Protein Description
Stanniocalcin-2 (STC2) is a glycoprotein that belongs to the stanniocalcin family, which is primarily known for its role in calcium and phosphate homeostasis in aquatic organisms. Recent studies have illuminated the significance of STC2 in various physiological processes, including cellular stress response, metabolism regulation, and tissue remodeling in mammals. A growing body of research suggests that STC2 may serve as a protective factor in pathological conditions, such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases, by modulating cell survival and apoptosis. The aberrant expression of STC2 has been linked to the progression of several tumors, indicating its potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Additionally, recombinant STC2 proteins are being developed for therapeutic applications due to their ability to interact with specific cellular pathways. The production of STC2 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed investigations into its functional mechanisms and interactions at the molecular level, facilitating the exploration of its therapeutic potentials. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationship of STC2 can provide insights into the design of novel therapeutic strategies targeting its signaling pathways. Thus, continued research into STC2 and its recombinant forms holds promise for advancing our understanding of its biological roles and potential clinical applications.
