Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TSPAN8, a member of the tetraspanin family, is an integral membrane protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of TSPAN8 in cancer biology, particularly in the context of tumor progression and metastasis. Aberrant expression of TSPAN8 has been associated with several malignancies, including colorectal cancer and pancreatic cancer, where it is believed to enhance tumor invasiveness and promote the formation of a favorable microenvironment for tumor development. Researchers have focused on generating recombinant TSPAN8 proteins to elucidate their interactions with other cell surface proteins and to explore their functional roles in cell signaling pathways. These recombinant proteins serve as valuable tools for studying the mechanisms underlying TSPAN8-related cellular functions and for identifying potential therapeutic targets. Furthermore, insights gained from the study of TSPAN8 may pave the way for the development of innovative strategies aimed at inhibiting cancer progression, thereby contributing to more effective treatment options. With ongoing advancements in protein expression systems and molecular biology techniques, the research on TSPAN8 recombinant proteins is expected to provide a deeper understanding of their biological functions and their potential roles in cancer therapeutics.
