简介
THSD1 Protein positively regulates nascent focal adhesion assembly, influencing endothelial cell attachment to the extracellular matrix. It forms a complex with PTK2/FAK1, TLN1, and VCL, interacting specifically with TLN1. THSD1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived THSD1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
THSD1, or thrombospondin type-1 domain-containing protein 1, is a critical protein implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, particularly in cell adhesion, migration, and angiogenesis. This protein has garnered attention due to its role in cancer progression and metastasis, as well as its involvement in cardiovascular diseases and fibrosis. Research has shown that THSD1 can influence the tumor microenvironment, potentially affecting the behavior of cancer cells and the response to therapies. Moreover, abnormal expression levels of THSD1 have been linked to a variety of tumors, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. The recombinant expression of THSD1 allows for the generation of large quantities of the protein, facilitating in-depth studies of its structure and function. This research is essential for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying THSD1's role in disease and for developing targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity. By exploring the interactions of THSD1 with other biomolecules, scientists aim to uncover new pathways that could be exploited in the treatment of malignancies and other conditions where THSD1's function is dysregulated.
