Analytical Data

  • Gene name

    TXK

  • 简介

TXK protein is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase that cooperates with ITK to regulate adaptive immune responses. TXK is activated by the T cell receptor (TCR) and is phosphorylated at Tyr-420 after being recruited to the cell membrane, affecting the development, function and differentiation of T cells. TXK Protein, Human (sf9, 268a.a, His, GST) is the recombinant human-derived TXK protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with His, GST labeled tag.

Site-directed mutagenesis Custom tag design Custom buffer formulation Custom full-length protein production

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TXK, a member of the Tec family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its critical role in immune regulation and development. Research indicates that TXK is predominantly expressed in T cells and plays a vital role in T cell activation, proliferation, and cytokine production. Its activation is linked to various signaling pathways that govern immune responses, making it a key player in both adaptive and innate immunity. Dysregulation of TXK has been associated with several autoimmune diseases and cancers, prompting researchers to explore its potential as a therapeutic target. The study of TXK also extends to its function in different cellular contexts beyond the immune system, providing insights into its broader biological significance. Recent advancements in structural biology and molecular techniques have facilitated the investigation of TXK’s enzymatic activity and regulatory mechanisms, paving the way for the development of TXK inhibitors as novel therapeutic strategies. Understanding TXK’s intricate roles could lead to innovative approaches in treating immune-related disorders and enhancing immunotherapy efficacy. Thus, intensive research into TXK is crucial to unraveling its complexities and leveraging its potential in clinical applications.
